Buying Disneyland Hotel DVC Resale
Read the resale restrictions first. The Villas at Disneyland Hotel joined the Disney Vacation Club after 2019, which places them under the rules Disney applies to resale contracts at its newer resorts. Those rules change what a resale contract here can do for you, and they matter more than location, dues, or price.
How the resale restrictions work
Resale points from other DVC resorts cannot be used at the Disneyland Hotel villas. If you already own resale points at a Walt Disney World resort, those points will not book a stay here. Owning a Disneyland Hotel contract is the way into these villas as a resale buyer.
Resale points bought at a resort added after 2019 also carry restrictions on where they can be used. At Riviera Resort, resale points can only be used at Riviera. Before you sign, ask the title company to confirm in writing exactly where the points on your specific Disneyland Hotel contract can be booked. Do not rely on assumptions here.
Resale buyers also lose Membership Extras and the Sorcerer Pass discount, as at any resort.

For someone who lives on the West Coast and visits Disneyland often, this is the home resort that matches how you already travel. For someone whose trips center on Walt Disney World, the restrictions make it a harder fit.
Contract length
Disneyland Hotel contracts expire on January 31, 2074, more than 47 years from late 2026. Only the Cabins at Fort Wilderness, at 2075, runs longer. A deed this long spreads the purchase price across many decades of use.
Annual dues
Disneyland Hotel villa dues only go back to 2024 in the data on this site. The rate was $9.53 per point in 2024, $9.82 in 2025, and $10.54 in 2026. The jump from 2025 to 2026 was 72 cents.
