Buying Copper Creek Villas DVC Resale

No Walt Disney World resort free of the post-2019 resale restrictions has a longer deed than Copper Creek Villas. Contracts expire on January 31, 2068, more than 41 years from late 2026.

That length is the main reason to look at Copper Creek resale. A buyer in their thirties could own these points into retirement and still have years left to pass along or resell.

Price per point against years of use

As of October 2026, resale listings on this site were asking an average of $147.76 per point for Copper Creek Villas. On its own, that looks expensive next to resorts averaging closer to $100.

Spread the price across 41 years, though, and the purchase works out to roughly $3.58 per point for each year of use. A 2042 contract at a lower asking price can easily cost twice that per year. Long deeds reward buyers who plan to keep their points for a long time, and that is how Copper Creek should be judged.

Annual dues from 2021 to 2026

Copper Creek annual dues rose from $7.59 per point in 2021 to $9.02 per point in 2026. Between 2021 and 2022 the rate barely moved, going from $7.59 to $7.60. From there it climbed to $7.92, $8.09, $8.49, and finally $9.02.

The total increase over five years was $1.43 per point, smaller than at Boulder Ridge Villas in the same building. For 2026 Copper Creek also has the lower rate of the two, $9.02 compared with $9.77. Over a deed lasting four decades, a lower starting rate is worth paying attention to. Current figures for each resort are on the DVC annual dues by resort page.

Location

Copper Creek is part of Wilderness Lodge on Bay Lake, with boat service to Magic Kingdom. The resort includes villas inside the lodge and cabins along the shoreline. Buyers who want a lodge setting with easy access to Magic Kingdom, and who want that for decades, are the people this contract was built for.

The 11 month booking window

Copper Creek owners book Copper Creek at 11 months. Boulder Ridge owners, despite sharing the lodge, do not. They wait until 7 months like members from any other resort. If the cabins or a lake view villa during a holiday week matter to you, owning this home resort is the way to get first access.

Resale buyers keep that 11 month priority. You lose Membership Extras and the Sorcerer Pass discount, and resale Copper Creek points cannot be used at Riviera Resort or at resorts added after 2019, such as the Disneyland Hotel villas and the Cabins at Fort Wilderness.
