Boulder Ridge Villas at Wilderness Lodge

Buying Boulder Ridge Villas DVC Resale

Boulder Ridge Villas and Copper Creek Villas share the same building complex at Wilderness Lodge, the same lobby, the same pools, and the same boat to Magic Kingdom. They are still two separate home resorts with two separate deeds, and the difference between them is the clearest way to understand what you are buying here.

Same lodge, different contract

A Boulder Ridge contract expires on January 31, 2042. A Copper Creek contract runs until January 31, 2068. That is a gap of 26 years on the same property.

The asking prices reflect it. As of October 2026, resale listings on this site were asking an average of $102.58 per point for Boulder Ridge Villas, compared with an average of $147.76 per point for Copper Creek Villas.

Neither number tells you which is the better buy on its own. Divide the purchase price by the years remaining and Boulder Ridge works out to roughly $6.70 per point for each year of use, while Copper Creek comes to about $3.58. Copper Creek costs more upfront and less per year. Boulder Ridge costs less upfront and runs out sooner.

If your plans for DVC stretch about 15 years, Boulder Ridge may give you what you need for less money today. If you want 30 years or more, the Copper Creek Villas deed is the one that fits.

Annual dues

Boulder Ridge annual dues rose from $8.11 per point in 2021 to $9.77 per point in 2026. Copper Creek started lower, at $7.59 in 2021, and reached $9.02 in 2026. The two resorts share one lodge, yet Boulder Ridge carries the higher yearly rate.

The Boulder Ridge rate held almost flat early in the period, moving from $8.11 to $8.15 between 2021 and 2022, then rose faster in later years. Compare it against other resorts on the DVC annual dues by resort page.

Who it suits

Wilderness Lodge has a rustic, national park lodge feel, set on Bay Lake with the boat to Magic Kingdom right outside. Buyers who like a quieter setting close to Magic Kingdom, and who are comfortable with a shorter time horizon, are the natural fit.

Booking and restrictions

Owning Boulder Ridge gives you the 11 month window at Boulder Ridge Villas specifically. It does not give you 11 month access to Copper Creek, even though the two share a lobby. Copper Creek is a separate home resort, so a Boulder Ridge owner books it at 7 months like any other member.

Resale buyers keep home resort priority, banking, borrowing, and the right to resell. Membership Extras and the Sorcerer Pass discount do not transfer, and resale points cannot be used at Riviera Resort or at resorts added after 2019.

Current contracts are listed under Boulder Ridge Villas resale listings.
